Road Trip — Part 3 — Monterey Bay

We had intended on driving up the coast the entire way to the Bay area, but the mudslides on the PCH altered our plans (sorry again, Mother Nature. Some day we'll learn. Hopefully.), so we ended up taking the 101 up to Monterey. By the time we got there I had been sick for nearly the entire trip and we'd already driven well over 1,000 miles, so we decided to live it up, get a hotel instead of sleeping in our car/tent, take a shower and get some great food. It ended up being the best decision and it was great to be able to walk around, slow down a little bit and actually have time to enjoy our honeymoon before tackling the long (+ flaaaaaaat) drive back to Minneapolis.
