Puget Sound, the massive estuary that spans the inland marine waters of Washington state, is unequivocally my favorite place on earth. It’s what drove me to move to its shores in 2009 and what brought me back again in 2018. In 2020, at the very beginning of the pandemic, I started a project called Our Wild Puget Sound as a way to keep my creative mind busy during the uncertain times that followed (and continue) and to also dive into (sometimes literally) this place that I love so much. It’s expanded from a project that started on a whim to its own entity that lies somewhere at the intersection of passion project, publication, content studio, stock library and love letter.
Our Wild Puget Sound is an ongoing collection of images + stories born out of a pure love for Puget Sound and an insatiable curiosity for exploring all the ways we’re all connected to these wild waters.
